Alfonce Signal XS
120,00€ – 145,00€
Electronic reporting device & luminous
From the 29 June 2020 drones weighing more than 800g must be equipped with an electronic and light signaling device that complies with the decree of 27 December 2019.
One module for both functions !
Dronotique has developed a device combining these two reporting functionalities in a single module.
The same device as the’Alfonce Signal but without a removable case or the possibility of using bases for different types of drones.
If you are looking for the module with integrated battery refer to the’Alfonce Signal XL
Description
Electronic reporting device & luminous
From the 29 June 2020 drones over 800g must be equipped with an electronic and light signaling device conforming tostop of 27 December 2019.
In a way it is a transponder (beacon) for your drone which sends in WiFi the position and the trajectory of the drone, as well as the takeoff point. It allows authorities to remotely identify flying drones and their owners.
One module for both functions !
Dronotique has developed a device combining these two reporting functionalities in a single module.
This is the version without eXtra Small delivered in a heat shrink tubing, without case.
A small and light device, which will fit easily inside your drones.
An adaptable device :
- Compatible NMEA (GPS) and Mavlink
- Internal or external GPS
- Mavlink or GPS port replication
- Light signal management
- Customizable
- Input voltage 5-25V (6S)
- Housing with removable system
An evolving device :
- Firmware updatable
- Ability to change Mavlink / NMEA protocol
- ID to International Standard ANSI / CTA-2063-A
Technical characteristics
Food | LiPo/LiIon 2 at 6S (or 5V via the UART1 socket) |
Dimensions | 35x29x8mm |
Weight | <15g (excluding GPS) |
Consumption | ~1W (excluding external leds) |
Signal broadcast | Wifi Canal 6 2437 MHz |
Antenna | External |
Supported protocols | NMEA (GPS) ou Mavlink |
Connectors | JST-GH (identical Pixhawk 4 and Cube) |
Three use cases
Use as a completely independent device
GPS is connected directly to the device
The device is completely independent of the flight controller
The protocol is that of GPS – NMEA
Use in independent module and as GPS for flight controller
The device is connected directly to the GPS
It is also connected to a telemetry port
GPS signal is replicated to the telemetry port
The protocol is that of GPS - NMEA
Use connected to the flight controller (compatible Mavlink)
The device and the GPS are connected to the flight controller
The device extracts the GPS position from Mavlink frames
The Mavlink stream is replicated on the secondary port
A telemetry module is installed there
The protocol is that of the flight controller – Mavlink
Light signaling
The decree of 27 December 2019 defining the technical characteristics of the electronic and light signaling devices of aircraft operating without a person on board specified in its chapter 2, article 5 :
1° The use of the colors red and white is prohibited for the signaling of aircraft operating without anyone on board ;
2° The signaling light must be visible at night by a ground observer, up to a flight height of at least 150 meters and within a radius on the ground of at least 150 meters from its verticality.
L & rsquo; Alfonce Signal uses blue LEDs meeting these characteristics. You can order it as a ribbon, or install your own 5V tapes.
Possibility to order additional bases, with or without battery as well as led strips
And don't forget to ask your questions about the dedicated forum
For proper operation, remember to orient the module well (GPS antenna up).
