Using filters on liveviews

Filters allow you to process live video streams via modules “Computer Vision”, to :

  • Change the overall appearance of the video stream
  • Detect objects
  • Mark detected objects
  • Interact with the UAV or the apparatus according to the detected objects

The order of application of the filters is important. Indeed, you must, for example to detect objects before marking! The highest filters in the list are executed first.

The use of filters does not change the photos and videos that might be stored on the device.

The use of filters is resource intensive. The configuration of many filters on many Liveviews can lead to system slowdown.

These filters can be used in the & rsquo; state. We can also change the, adapt to your needs and connect them to your d & rsquo system information.

Filters change the appearance of the video stream

The following filter used to change the rendering of the video stream :

  • BANDW : pour Black AND White, turns your black and white video
  • RESOLUTION_VGA : decreases / increases the resolution to 720p wide or high
  • RESOLUTION_XVGA : decreases / increases the resolution to 1024p wide or high
  • ROTATE_180 : Performs a 180 ° rotation of & rsquo; Image
  • FLIP_H : Retourne l’image horizontalement
  • FLIP_V : Retourne l’image verticalement
  • CROP_CENTER_SQUARE : Returns the central part of the & rsquo; Image square format
  • HALFPART_LEFT : Only the left half of the & rsquo; Image
  • HALFPART_RIGHT : Only the right half of the & rsquo; Image
  • DBLFISHEYE_TO_EQUI : transforms double vision fisheye panoramic equirectangular (cameras 360. Requires a camera calibration. Works with the & rsquo; Insta 360 Air. D & rsquo; other cameras 360 can be added on request)

detection filters

The following filters can detect live elements in the video stream :

  • FACE : Face Detection
  • BODY : detects person
  • PROFILE : detects faces in profile
  • OBJECT: detects various objects : television, dog, chat, car, bike, had…
  • IMMAT : detection and reading of license plates
  • BAR_CODE : detection and bar code reading and QR Code
  • MOTION : detects moving elements (requires a steady drone)
  • DENSE_FLOW : optical flow, in development
  • LK_FLOW : optical flow, in development
  • PATTERN : detection & rsquo; a similar element to a given image (in development)

Each of these filters can interact with your information system by going back some detected information : number of the license plate, number of detected elements…

Interaction filters

The following filters to interact directly with the drone as a function of that detection filter were analyzed on the video stream :

  • FOCUS : automatically performs the camera autofocus on the detected item that occupies the surface in the video stream (depending on the capabilities of the camera or the camera)
  • FOLLOW : (in development) to track a detected member

marking Filters

marking the filters to change the live video stream but only the parties which were performed a detection element :

  • MARK_CIBLES_SQUARE : frames detected items
  • MARK_CIBLES_SQUARE_TEXT : frames detected elements with a label
  • MARK_CIBLES_CIRCLE : encircles the detected elements
  • MARK_CIBLES_CIBLE : displays a small target in the center of the detected elements
  • BLUR : blurs detected items

Divers

  • SAVE_IMG_TO_FILE : saving each image to a file (similar to the LiveView SAVE2FILE)
  • OSD : drone displays navigation information on & rsquo; Image, compatible MAVLINK (in development)
